John Pearson had been husking corn in the forenoon on Friday,
November 7th, going home at about 10 AM with a headache, and died
suddenly at 6 PM the same day. He united with the Presbyterian Church
when young at Lost Creek, Ohio. The funeral was at Zion UB Church, and
conducted by Rev O.L. Richart. Mr Pearson lived in Defiance
County, moving to Dekalb county, Indiana about 1891.
John Frances Pearson is the ninth generation cousin to
president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, through the Cushman Family.
