Samuel lived many years in Schoeneck and
made his living as a brick maker. He moved
several times between Schoeneck, Denver,
Cocalico and Lincoln. In the latter part of his
life he lived at the Cloister premise, the
Washington house and the United Zion
Brethren home near Lidtz. He died at the
home of Reuben Smith on West Fulton
street, in the borough, aged eighty-four
years, one month and one day. He was a
faithful and regular attendant at the United
Brethren church. He always showed deep
interest in the youth and would give
testimony at prayer meetings. - Obituary
