David Shuler, a twelve year old son of Samuel
Shuler, a brickmaker, or Bernville, Berks county,
was drowned on Saturday evening in the
Tulpehocken crek, at a place called
Brossman's Hole, about a quarter of
a mile from Bernville.
Found him on the 1880 Bernville, Berks,
Pennsylvania census (img 35) as
David Shuler age 10.

His WWI draft registration card lists him as 'foreman in
knitting mill' and that he has 'weak deformed left breast'.
His WWII draft registration card lists his place of
residence as Reamstown, Lancaster, PA, and his employer's
name as Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, Berks, PA.
