READING, March 27.-Coroner Rotherinel convened
a Jury to-night and held an Inquest on the victims
of yesterday afternoon's locomotive explosion on the
Philadelphia and Reading Railroad. After hearing the
evidence and deliberating some time the Jury agreed
on the following verdict: "We, the Jury Impaneled to
Inquire into the death of Oscar Leisey and Lyman D.
Emerich, do find that Engine 802, extra freight,
exploded on Sunday about 12.15 P. M. between
Duabervllle and Mohrsville. According to the evidence
and Inspection of the boiler the cause of the explosion
was due to the injection of cold water when boiler
was very hot." Leisey's remains were taken this
evening to his parents' residence, in Pine Grove, for
Interment,' and Emerlch's body will be forwarded
to-morrow morning to his late home in Schuylkill Haven.
